Jeff E. - '65 Chevelle
The car was an originally Tuxedo Black Malibu, six
cylinder, three-on-the-tree.
The brother of the guy I bought it from painted the car
about 17 years ago, and there are some body worked areas
showing up... but overall it still looks pretty good.

The car has a 1974-75 454 truck engine in it. The engine
was rebuilt about two years ago by Wheeler Racing. It now
is rated 465hp at the flywheel.

Last spring (with a lot of help from a friend Tony) we put
in a "Quick Performance", Ford nine-inch under the back
end. It has a Strange Engineering center section , nodular
housing, Moser 31 spline axles, all the good stuff... and
holding that in is upper and lower control arms from
Hotckis performance, including new springs and shocks all
the way around.

Inside is pretty much a stock look except with a few Auto
Meter gauges.
Weld draglights covered with TA Radials, a Muncie M-21
between the engine and rearend, along with some other
bolt on goodies makes for a fun car to drive, and gets it's
share of looks.
And yeah I can't wait to fire it up for the first drive!
